Sinochem International and Saudi Tijan Petrochemical sign Commercial contract for Moroccan Tire Plant Project

On May 5, China Engineering International Engineering Co., Ltd. and Saudi Tijan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. signed a commercial contract for the Moroccan tire factory project, which will build a 15 million semi-steel radial passenger and light truck automobile tire plant with an annual output of 30 million pieces during the 300-month contract period.
It is understood that the Moroccan tire factory project is located in the city of Gainitra, Kingdom of Morocco, with a contract amount of 2 million US dollars, about 5.17 billion yuan, which is 25.2016% of the total operating income of China Engineering International in 80 (66.21 billion yuan). After the contract takes effect, it will have a certain impact on the company's total operating income and total profit in the following three years.
This contract is the second tire project undertaken by China Engineering International in West Asia and Africa after signing a tire project business contract with Saudi Advanced Tyre Factory on March 2016, 3. The performance of this contract is the result of foreign engineering contracting enterprises practicing the "Belt and Road" strategy and implementing international production capacity cooperation, which is conducive to CAMC strengthening its professional advantages in the field of industrial engineering and expanding its market share in West Asia and Africa.
The Saudi Premium Tire Plant project, located in the Royal Commission Industrial Park in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, will build a modern plant with an annual capacity of 180.1 million radial passenger and light truck vehicle tires. The contract amount is US$78 million, or approximately RMB11.57 billion, which is 2015.81% of the total operating income of CAMC International in 20 (RMB14.24 billion). The duration of the contract is 33.5 months.
